“A New Vision”
Welcome to the website of the Grayson County Democratic Party. My heartfelt thanks go out to each of you for putting your trust in me as Chair of the Grayson County Democratic Party. Change open doors and allows the light of new ideas to illuminate the path we have structured to reach our goal, “To Change Grayson County from Republican Red to Democratic Blue”. As our President said in his inaugural, “The American Spirit has never been one for the faint-hearted”. Together we can build and restore our Party and Grayson County back to its position of Prominence and Leadership.
Just for a moment, please allow me to paraphrase our President, “The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year, but Grayson County-I have never been more hopeful than I am today that we will get there. There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won’t agree with every decision I make as Chair and we as a Party can’t solve every problem. But I will always be honest with you about the challenges we face. I will listen to you, especially when we disagree. And above all, I will ask you to join in the work of remaking Grayson County the way it has been done in the past-Block by Block, House by House, Precinct by Precinct.
Grayson County Democrats, what we have already achieved gives us hope for what we can and must achieve tomorrow. We need each of you to come and be a part of this transformation now. We ask you to volunteer, contribute by becoming a “Sustaining Member” or help us get out the vote, for when Democrats vote, people win—when people vote, Democrats win.
